Soccer
Our soccer facilities have been used by J-League teams, and the national football teams of Japan and France for their training camps.
Here is the location of the official soccer grounds of the Japan Football Association. As these auxiliary grounds are on our hotel premises, access is limited to authorized persons only.
Facilities : Ground 1, Ground 2, Auxiliary ground, Club house (Fitness gym and J-box are also available within the hotel building)
Equipment : 3 pairs of goals
2 pairs of mini-goals
50 traffic cones
25 traffic cone bars
Sporting nets (Height: 10m)
Turf : Species : Perennial ryegrass, Palmer, Prelude (The same species as turfs of about half of the stadiums for the 2002 FIFA World Cup)
By overseeding other types underneath, the ground condition is kept soft in order to relieve stress on players' knees. As we have gained knowhow through the management of our affiliated golf club (Ibusuki Golf Club), the ground is engineered so that water drains very effectively if it rains.

(Comments from some of the teams)

  • It is very easy to get to the grounds as it is within the hotel premises.
  • The auxiliary ground is very convenient not only for goalkeepers but also for other players to stretch, to do circuit training and so on.
  • The water drains from the grounds so rapidly even if it rains.
  • The hilly area around the grounds is good for athletic training.
